At 19, Lee Hui Ying started her volunteering journey in Nee Soon South. She has been actively serving the community for more than 15 years through various grassroots organisations – Youth Executive Committee, Central Youth Council, Citizens’ Consultative Committee, Community Club Management Committees. Volunteering from a young age has given her the opportunity to build meaningful engagements, learn from residents of all walks of life, and give back. 

Hui Ying is currently the Director of Communications at Temasek Foundation, a non-profit organisation that supports diverse impactful programmes to uplift communities. 

Earlier in her career, she spent 10 years in government communications, helping to shape messages across ministries including the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Health.
